Design Interest of the Day

My loves....introducing something special today so brace yourself. We are going to Punta del Este, Uruguay where Las Piedras Fasano development has been under way. From private homes and hotel bungalows to polo fields, equestrian center, and full service spa, Las Piedras has something for everyone. Number one reason I admire place like this is the authenticity of its architecture to the surrounding environment. I respect architects (in Las Piedras Case Isay Weinfeld) who work with the landscape and are able to fuse it with innovative approach. Instead of raising large modern structures taking away from the amazing scenery, Ian Weinfeld complemented the rocky area with low buildings that "land naturally" in its surroundings and finished his work with appropriate rustic interiors. We started our week in Florence in Continentale hotel and now I'm ready to end my weekly travels in Uruguay. Happy Friday!
The bar's charm is undeniable:
Comfortable interiors:
This is how we can end our day, chatting by the pool, meeting people from around the world, watching the sunset....
What are we waiting for? Lets go in!
