Neige Ice Cider

I will admit that I was originally drawn to Neige ice cider by La Face Cachee de la Pomme based only upon its amazing packaging - it was pretty simple but strong and made the actual product stand on its own without screaming at me to buy it. As as the story goes BECAUSE it was so restrained I wanted to learn more. Neige ice cider is from Quebec and is getting awards left and right. Its sweetness is offset with the tartness of apples creating the perfect balance. So, my friends, did any of you had it? Is it good as I'm thinking it might be?
And the packaging! Neige would make a great gift for somebody too. (And no, I was not paid to be this excited about the product, I promise)
The description directly taken from the website:

WINTER HARVEST. BLEND OF FUJI, POULIOT, GOLDEN RUSSET, CORTLAND, MCMILLAN, HONEY GOLD AND OTHER TRADITIONAL VARIETIES OF APPLES.

LIGHTLY ORANGE SHIMMERS WITH COPPERY REFLECTIONS. PERSISTENT TEARS.

PURE, CRISP, AROMAS OF RIPE APPLE WITH BRILLIANT INTENSITY. COMPLEX AROMAS OF TOBACCO, SPICES, CARAMEL AND FRUIT. THESE TERTIARY AROMAS DE GARDE ARE LINKED TO THE MATURITY AND FINESSE OF THE PRODUCT.

SILKY, LINGERING NOTES OF BUTTERSCOTCH, BRIGHT AND FRESH. A PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN SUGAR AND ACIDITY.

A DESSERT IN ITSELF! PERFECT WITH WITH FOIE GRAS, BLUE-VEINED CHEESE OR TARTE TATIN.

It is time to wrap some presents now. Have a great day!

  2. Looks great and hopefully tastes good, too. I love apple cider, but I don't know about this one. I'm glad I came across your blog, I really like it! If you get the time, feel free to check out mine - I think you might like it! If you do, comments and followers are much appreciated :)))

PS: I read on your profile you live in San Francisco/Czech republic. Since I come from the Czech republic, I was just wondering if you, too, are Czech :))
