Caixa Verde

When it comes down to it, as humans we really don't need much to be happy. With a little imagination, one is able to create magic out of anything.
Today's example takes the unconventional road of updating an old shed/garage/storage into a personal dwelling that is adjacent to the main house on the property. I'm in love with the poetic, raw execution. Featuring Caixa Verde (or the "green box") in Italy by architecture firm Act Romegialli.
Some of the materials used are galvanized steel, pine/larch wood, and concrete.
Floating counter adds modern element.
The sliding door!
 The garage before:
Hidden escape after:
 Enjoy.
